• Re: Harlequin

Yep In my humble opinion, anyone invested with this Company (and I am one) is a Turkey waiting for Christmas. Where has all of the money gone? I hazard a guess.:- Big named personalities, very big launch events, hundreds of legal battles, commission to agents oh and I nearly forgot juicy directors dividends, despite the fact of there is no ...

  • Re: First National Finance

Hi Simon I'm not sure that it is just thge thread linked with First National Finance. I posted earlier trying to establish where a thread had disappered connected with NMD. That thread has now disappeared. It's a shame really as I thought this was a forum where everyone could share views and express opinions as well as learning from ...

  • Re: Bucc Bay Launch Date

I am sure that this is tongue in cheek. I think that I have more chance of swimming to BB than it opening on 13 August. That said, maybe they are going to open it in its current state. I believe that for investors accom is free. At least guests wont have the hassle of any building going on around them given that the workforce have all been laid ...

  • Re: Buccament Bay - Work on site stopped

Hi Tony I think the business model looks a little like this:- Spend an intial sum on marketing. Sell Units and pay the agents massive commissions to keep them sweet and eager to sell more. Spend millions more on marketing and "LAUNCH" events Spend millions more on paying Directors their well earned Dividends. Spend millions more on ...

  • Re: Harlequin

Interesting point Tony As I said in my earlier post, having spoke to a well qualified overseas lawyer here, who advised me not to bother wasting fees on legal costs, there are many agents here WHEN it all goes wrong on a very sticky wicket.

Perhaps Phil could write to Dave Ames on behalf of the SP community to cover some of the members current concerns. Given the nature of the site, packed with property investors, I am sure that Mr Ames would be keen to confirm all of the progress that is being made and how fabulous Harlequin are?

  • Re: Harlequin

Interresting that this topic concerning Harlequin seems to be hotting up. Have just has another look at the Website, there would appear to be no mention of Oasis anywhere? I have invested at Merricks and to be frank have already written off my investment. In my opinion, I feel it only a matter of time before they go under and Dave Ames possibly ...
