Hi all.......... so glad i found this site. I am a first time investor and my life is coming crashing down by my ears and i stand to loose all. due to my involvement with a certain developer in leeds. I have been looking for ways to find all of you other people out there also involved. I basiclly have some good news at this 11th hour. We have been talking good credible advice from a respected surveyor in leeds. GOOD Help is at hand. I have read all of your Blogs (i am just trying to work out how to get back on to it) We have all been decieved/conned. This is the problem We dont know who or how many of us there are other than a Lot! Developer has been getting debt collectors (pretending to be Bank of Ireland officals) to ring around forcing people to sign. Other problem is too many people with individual solicitors who will only tow the contractural line.This is of no use. Also the developer is a master at 'Divide and Conquer'. NOW THIS IS THE GOOD NEWS.... There is Enough evidence that these units have been sold by misrepresentation Eg no one appears to have confirmed thier Sale Incentive of 15% Cash Back Rental Advance!. If we all get together, sign Afadavit's to that effect then there is a very good case for Recission. The other course of action is Gross negligence on the solicitors behalf (Watson and Brown). We need consolidation between us NOT fragmentation.
There are two No Win No Fee solicitors involved. Robinson and Murphy in Newcastle and Max Gold Group in Hull. I am with R&M (a breath of fresh air compared with 2 other solicitors i have previously used) as i am not sure if MG have got thier funding yet!
