    New property website tracks house price reductions in real time

    Hi,

    I'd like to let you know about a new website we've just launched to track UK property prices. I hope by posting this announcement here we'll be able to get the feedback we need to make this into a great resource for home buyers and investors.

    The new website is at www.itching2sell.com and it is currently in 'Public Beta' mode, which means you're one of the first people to see it!

    We've started by tracking over 30,000 properties for sale but we'll be expanding this number every week. Our focus is currently on London and the South East, but we aim to add properties from all major UK estate agents by the end of the year.

    Please leave any feedback, good and bad, below or contact us directly.

    Liked the site. Working fine when I looked.

    We're just in the process of launching a couple of sites ourselves, one in particular might be worth talking about linking in with.

    In that case it is not working on a Mac with Firefox browser. Just tried it again.

    Hi Andy (Griff_500)

     

    Sorry you still can't see the site. I know for sure it's not your platform and browser as I use the same combination to design the site :) I think it's likely to be issues between your ISP and our server at Rackspace. My friend uses TalkTalk and he can't see it, but all other ISPs I've tried seem to be fine. I'm looking into this at the moment and hope to get it sorted soon.

    Hi all

    Just a quick note to tell you we're now displaying the name of the estate agent alongside each property on our site, making it much easier to find out more details. Estate agents can now opt-in to show more details, or opt-out to remain anonymous as before.

    We have many more enhancements planned for the next few months, as we continue our efforts to add all the major estate agents in the UK.

    Thanks for raising this and getting in touch with me privately. We are currently working on an automated way for smaller agents to easily add their properties to our site. This should be available within the next few weeks.

    For anyone who's not visited our site recently, you may want to check out our new Trends Analysis tool:

    We believe this is the only tool on the internet which allows you to chart 'almost live' (delayed by 3 days) market data and compare metrics such as Number of Properties and Average Price between agents. We will be adding additional metrics and indexs in the future.
