I've recently joined this site and it's great to hear all the stories of the properties you are all developing.  I have been developing property for the last 10 years.  I got into it through necessity (couldn't afford anything but a derelict property in North Wales) and now have property all over the UK and even some abroad.

Many of my properties were a learning process and I used to find it really stressful, specially pulling everything in on budget.  I also had many instances when the tradespeople would try to deal with the painter/decorator instead of speaking to me as they chose not to believe that I was the Project Manager - any of you have the same experience?
