printcarrier.com - are they in trouble?

Anyone else having trouble with printcarrier.com?

    • They no longer accept credit/debt card payments - meaning that they can't do fast turn-around work
    • They do not answer emails (for 3 days now)
    • They do not answer telephone (for 3 days)

Does anyone know of another printer offering similar value for money for A5 double-sided colour leaflets?

    Best wishes to all piggies.

    Alan

I was considering ordering from them. They sent me some samples, and I received them within a week. DP printing are very competitive

Just used Pitangaprint - delivered within 48 hours and think they came in at 1p per leaflet - really nice company to deal with.

Thanks Jane but, sadly, Pitangaprint don't do double-sided colour printing (I always use Pitangaprint for our black&white print, though).

Re: printcarrier.com - are they in trouble?

Hi there, sorry to intrude on your post but I use a company who accept cards and often do next day. I usually look round and then go to them to see if they can match the price. Quality is faultless and they give two or three designs to choose from - let me know if you want there detials, not too sure of the rules on posting web addresses / phone numbers etc?

    Cheers

Re: printcarrier.com - are they in trouble?

Well, their customer service attitude is absolutely attrocious.   I don't think I've ever come across such apathy towards customers (and I've done a significant amount of trading with various businesses in my lifetime).

They have confirmed now, 5 days since I placed my order, that they have now started printing.  No explanations, no apologies, no reduction in price for the delay (depsite me ordering express service).

I don't know why they have stopped accepting credit/debit card payments - but it means you lose a week waiting for payments to clear - so absolutely no point in paying extra for their "express" service.

I'm still half-expecting not to receive the leaflts - so I'll post back to this thread in a few days' time to let you know.

I certainly won't be using them again unless they apologise for the inconvenience and poor customer service.

    Regards,
    Alan

Re: printcarrier.com - are they in trouble?

It amazes me how a large company operating through-out europe does not accept credit/debit cards....It says on the site they use World Pay for card transactions, maybe cards/debits are temporarily not accepted.......mystery.
