any one heard of David rhodes system?

    any one heard of David rhodes system?

     
     I got the letter trhrough post and iam thinking to give it ago, it sound simple stright forward. You pay £10 pounds to number 1 as a gift of list of six people, then delete that person and put yourself at 6 and send minumum 200 letters containing your name at 6 and hopfully people will do the same. if only 2% of 200 respond, then 4 people will mail 200 letters each, which is 800 letters with my name at 5 position etc. so if only 2% of people respond all the way untill you are number 1 you should make somthing as much as £40000. I have read the system few times and i thought i will just give it ago anyway but thought if anyone has done the system before??? any feedback will be appreciated.

    what happens  is that people dont put their name on the bottom of the list, but at the top, and the whole thing collapses very quickly , while the "honest" folks get nothing - and yes i do know someone who did it and did not get one penny   i simply can't believe this is STILL doing the rounds, my mate got stung in the 1980's !!

    thanks clottie you have really put me off it. i was thinking no matter anyone say i will do it but i forgot one fact ( honesty ) for the system to work you want everyone to follow the rules.

    I have a friend who has recently done this. So far, all he has back is one envelope marked "return to sender"

    Apart from that, he has got a lot of invites to look at biz opps! For the amount of biz opps he has received, he could have just bought the Exchange & Mart and Loot and phoned up for all the info himself.

    My advice is not to do it.

    There is a lot of information about "David Rhodes" on Google. You can look it up and see for yourself.

    Agree with Clottie - don't do it. This system seems to have resurfaced again - I have recently received 4 letters with the same, or very similar versions. As with the system in the 80s the market is saturated very quickly.

    On a positive note, it is nice to see that some people actually went to the effort of retyping the letter so it at least looks professional. Others have sent very poor, faded, squint photocopies - perhaps they have photocopiers left over from the 80's too.

    very funny Lip but thanks guys for the advice ( me been me) i have alrady bought the mailing list of 200 people, i wonder if people sending the letter to the same 200 people. the idea is very simple and if people applied it, there is alot of money to be made, may be somone can think if 50000 people who they can trust!!!!!
