I run a successful cashflow business which is suitable for people that want to work no more than 3 hours per day, leaving time to pursue other interests/ventures. I have had several discussions with other SPers who think this would bolt on very nicely to their property plans and am considering producing a manual explaining how to do this and an ongoing mentoring system to aid them through any initial problems they may encounter. I expect they would need to spend a couple of days with me showing them in a ready built business how it all works, plus perhaps an ongoing support via telephone/email for about 3 to 6 months. I would teach everything needed to make a success themselves including spreadsheets for client account management. Profit should easily reach 1000 per week in the first year and double that the year after if they decide to expand that much. The business I will teach them on I will probably keep to about the 1000 per week level for ease of management and teaching (though looking at my books its already crept up to over 1100 this week).
I would like to know what people think is a reasonable charge for all this, as I though I am happy to help people out I also want to make some money for doing it. To be honest I actually prefer setting these businesses up and getting them to the stage where they are running smoothly and profitably than the ongoing regular routine. I thought about this earlier in the year and offered it to a couple of people on the basis that I would actually go to them and set the business up for the first month or so until it was running profitably, though if I was to do it this way it would mean I would have to give up my own area, and regular money from that, so my fees would have to be high to compensate. I was looking for 20k at this stage for the month to 6 weeks it would have taken to set up each business and train the people running it. This would have been with a money back guarantee if it wasn't as profitable as I claimed. I've moved away from this plan towards the idea I've outlined above, partly to keep down costs to potential buyers and partly so I don't have to give up my own regular cashflow.
