Haven't been on the seminar but from everyone else I have spoken to they also say that you can get the same info from books.
I am a regular trader (not a day trader) and have gained my experience from both books, successful broker friends (I hate the word broker - but it is so true for 1/2 of them), ASX and NZSE modules and trial and error.
Share investing is not rocket science, nor is it a stable investment.
Anyone can do well if they know what to look for and use common sense.
Find yourself a good online broker and open a share-dealing account and you are 1/2 way there.
Then, research research research, as there is not much margin for error.
Don't buy on 'tips' from friends (always ask them how many they have bought if the deal is so hot - and also when they bought them)
Learn how to read company accounts and if possible get the advice of an experienced friend before buying shares in XYZ company. (they may pick up anomolies that you overlooked)
