Re: Buy Back Scheme - Still Waiting For a Response From Eva!

    For the Benefit of Harold,

If you cared to do further research you will find many of these for British Columbia/Canada - this is to do with Marketing Strategy requirements that Canada require by law - somewhat more stringent than other countries. Whether right or wrong thats not a place for me to comment, nor you.

These are all aware of by Eva Sotres/Developers and confirmed by solicitors - this does not have a negative impact on the development. These just prevent PuntaPerla marketing in Canada, i beleive due to the fact that Escrow accounts are not being used, which we are all awre of. Thats my understanding at least.

    Re: Mud Slingers!

This is a posting on marbella lawyers site, which are following Mirandas development in Spain - Estepona Beach & Country Club which too has not been built.

I have just had an interesting conversation with a solicitor in Madrid, it seems that Ricardo Miranda is well known and his name is mud. Well known fact that he is being investigated for fraud and money laundering at present.
I have also spoken to a Punta Perla client who has been told that building work has started but could not be provided with any photos. How strange!
I feel the sooner that Mr Miranda is behind bars the better.

Forget about Punta Perla people, they will not pay. Forget about research we must sue the developer all together before he leaves with our money. At least we will recover somenting. All punta perla people should be in jail.

I recomend you to talk with a international property lawyers as is this people www.chamberintlawyers.com

    Re: PUNTA PERLA

I think we lost our money, PuntaPerla money is going to disappear if actions are not being taken we need to arrange a meeting with lawyers. I am looking for a legal advise. I spoke to www.chamberintlawyers.com the guy is called Ferrer, they are based in London. After 4 years I believe the worse.

    Re: PUNTA PERLA

I spoke with my contact in the DR this morning and was told no work has been accomplished to date. I am afraid, Nick and others are correct in their assumptions that we have probably lost most, if not all, of our investment. I am one of the wishful thinkers with two marina apartments who has been sitting on the sidelines hoping for the situation to right itself.

It seems the time has come when only some type of action, legal or otherwise, must be initiated. I believe it requires a united front, with the participation of all investors. We need to have a strategy and strength in numbers if we hope to recoup any funds. We may not be able to accomplish our ends with the efforts of just a few.

I am open to participation in any avenue which can further our efforts. It may be retaining a reputable law firm with the resources and a strong international presence in these matters. As has been mentioned, it may be www.chamberintlawyers.com. I don’t know?  Let’s not forget we are dealing with someone who has very deep pockets filled with our money.
