    HI

we are in the same boat as you. Suggest you write to Anthony McKay at IT and request he holds a meeting with all the investors on that complex and gives us some answers!

Still haven't got a mortgage on the property, and we have until June 1st before the developer starts levying penalties on us!

But has he replied positively to you?

This is a copy of the letter I got back from them and I take it say get st....ft, we are not interested to hear that you are not happy at the way you have been treated.

I hope you do better, and I will be glad to hear if you do.

    good luck

    Dear Miss Lay

RE: Your E-mail to Anthony Mckay dated 02/04/08 – Bahama Bay

Further to your recent e-mail correspondence, I have been asked to review your request for the refund of your fees on Bahama Bay.

I note that we have corresponded on this matter on several occasions and Instant Access Properties have made their views clear on the development and the circumstances surrounding it. As you are no doubt aware the introduction fee was non refundable, however I am aware that you were offered, as a ‘goodwill gesture’, a credit note to the value of your introduction fee. This can be used towards future introduction fees, subscription renewal and services on offer from Instant Access Properties, Aftercare Solutions and Fuel Investments.

Your request this week does not highlight any further information other than that previously supplied to us in support of your request. In view of this I do not see any reason to reconsider our previous decision.

I appreciate that this may not be in line with your expectations; however we now consider this matter closed. This is the final communication we are prepared to have with you on these issues.

    Kind Regards,

    Robert Marcantoni

Commercial Manager – Instant Access Properties

Snowball in hell springs to mind. They work extremely hard to keep us all apart so we have now strength in numbers.

Snowball in hell springs to mind. There is no chance. They work very hard indeed to keep us all apart so that there is no strength in numbers. I have suggested elsewhere that we, with our newspaper colleagues, get together independently to compare notes and see if we have any leverage. Any thoughts?

Re: Bahama Bay, Florida, Inside Track

untill you all get together OFF THE PUBLIC  WEB and maybe do a class action  - then you wont get anywhere.

for sure please keep on reporting news articles and bad press here - keep that up -  but any negotiations as to what you are going to do to fight them  -  do it by PM or whatever

IT will read this forum - they always have.

There is a facility to have a private forum here on SP  which David might provide for free for you   - but  - how are you going to make sure that an IT mole does not join -  ......

see whether you can get a solicitor to act for all of you  - thats your only chance in my view

offering "vouchers"  is nonsense  - and nothing more than a slap in the face

Re: Bahama Bay, Florida, Inside Track

Hi Janet  I am sure that I will get the same response as you. The problem that they cannot get away from is the initial model that I bought into it with was with an interest only mortgage which would have given us around 85% coverage, which we assumed would increase year on year. You are probably aware that the planning issues that surrounded the construction meant in no building at all being done from about April until the end of last year. When we stayed there last june, hardly any work was going on.

I will complete on the property-IF we can get a mortgage-this new broker seems very slow. Fuel pulled out a while ago, so I am not optimistic. The new mortgage payments quoted are double those that Fuel originally offered.

I have requested that Tony Mckay calls a meeting for all of us-suggest we all write and demand the same. I also suggest that we write to Duncan Farmer at the Mail on Sunday-he seems keen on highlighting IT's dubious customer service!!

Re: Bahama Bay, Florida, Inside Track

    Hi there

I have purchased on the Palisades resort in 2004 as well and as yet have no idea what is going on.  I have been going through the same groundhog day as yourself with financial details going back and forth and no replies from inside track.  This building is now apparently complete and has been for god knows how long.  I have no idea where we are up to or if indeed we will get a mortgage.  Have you any advice as to what to do.  How did you go about getting your money back?

    Any advice greatly appreciated

    Thanks
