To date, mortgage finance is coming on stream in Egypt slowly, some French banks eg. Societe General were the first in the mix. Some developers do developer finance, is quite expensive eg. 8% etc interest rates, but is a good way to get into the market on a small entry price. Some front line developments start at 15k sterling or less with developer finance.
I know some of the developers are speaking with banks, the Sahl Hasheesh area unlike Sharm, is freehold, so you can, or in the future get loan finance.
