    Email marketing

Im interested in marketing my website by email but i have no idea where to start with this.
When i google search this to try and find a good company they either seem to be charging 1000's $£ or i read through and its not actually what im looking for.
I want to create a campaigne to advertise a simple website. Maybe even try some targetted emails but something that is not classed as spamming people.

    Any ideas?

You might try going onto this forum..

and hirer someone to do this for you. There are a lot of people on there that do this sort of thing, and I'm sure that at least one of them will be willing to work for a cheaper price.

Thanks i do often visit there aswell as here but im looking for a website not an individual to do this work for me.

I want a site that has all the resources already. Maybe im just destined to pay a small fortune for this :(

    Hi There,

Have you thought of something like constantcontacts.com. A super product that will do just what you want it too.

    Keith.

    Re: Email marketing

    1. What subject matter does your web site sell? Can they/it be sold via email of is to name gather?

    2. Do you want your emails to "sell" or "inform" or "create interest". If its to inform/interest then do that via a blog and drive traffic there through emails. Create one at www.blogger.com

    3. Do you have a current list. If you do using some of the US based email systems means they have to have them opt in again and you will lose some subscribers that way due to the SPAM laws compliance that the contact providers must comply with.

If you are going to have an email campaign and already have lots if susbcribers then will you write them your self of have a copywriter (an email copywriter) do them for you? The extra conversion they will gain could well be worth the investment but that depends on the return you get for each sale.

If you dont have lots of subscribers how are you going to generate traffic. Through forums? Through adsense or through other means?

There are lots of responders out there, constant contact is a goodie as are www.aweber.com, www.getresponse.com But you will still have to do most the work yourself. Depending on what tools you already have there is a source at www.goldbar.net that provides virtualy all the back office stuff you will need and they will do some of the work for you. I am an affiliate for them but links are precluded in the forum so if you do like it please return the favour so I can send you my link outside the forum.

    Re: Email marketing

It seems as though you are looking to market your product to a targeted list of customers who already buy something similiar to you.

I would contact people with the same customers who may be willing to joint venture with you. They will ask for a cut of the profits but it all comes with a recommendation and you get to pick up those names that actually buy your product.

An very easy way to start your own list, although I must add your product will need to be very good and not jeopodise the other persons reputation
