Very new to this site and have been spending hours (literally) researching a lot of the information on here. This thread caught my eye because I too have been wondering how to buy the property, in my own name or a company one.
One question though, if I am purchasing in my own name, which I plan to do because I am going for a Buy to Hold strategy, but use a 'Trading Name' to give my self a more credible image - does the trading name have to be registered as a company, or can I simply plug something out of the air and start using it?
The research is ending and I am ready to make the jump - I feel like I am stood ina cage, very high up with a bungee cord strapped to my ankles!
