Re: Has anyone got any info on tic ltd?

    Hi all,

I too bought property through TIC. I have 6 properties through them. One running at £200 per month lost due to there lies in how much it was going to be rented for! I joined them 3/4 years ago, then they where smaller and seemed to have a more caring attitude. I went to seem them on a saturday afternoon where they opened up there office for me. I met with a portfolio manager who was very nice (left the ages ago) and Anthony Baker.

I bought 6 properties very quickly with them then decided to hold! Once I had stopped buying they became very rude and pushy and when I turned down one property they told me how foolish I was. This was one of the properties in Cardiff Bay. From what I can remember they where going to help you with your rent for 6 months but the mortgage was high at around £1000 per month. I cant believe how they spoke to me that day.

One of my properties is worth £10,000 less than when I bought it I have not looked at the rest. But in the long term they all should go up. At the moment 5 out of 6 are being rented - 1 that is £200 short the 6th property is costing me is £350 per month on mortgage payments.

A lot of these clubs need to be wound up telling people lies and using up there life savings. At the moment things are ok, I am just so glad I did not buy anything from them recently otherwise they would have run off with my money!

I have heard though the grapevine that they have now been sep up at BVG??? does anyone have any information on this?

If so people need to be alerted to this company!!!!!

I have since been involved with setting up a new investment company that is far better than property.....www.ethicalforesty.com

Its not a plug just a safer way to invest I think!!!!!

Re: Has anyone got any info on tic ltd? YES YES YES

    HI

I was googling to see what had happened to them or rather what was in the press etc. they are now BGV which has been run alongside TIC for about 18 months by the same directors etc.

they can be contacted on  0207 5182900

I will post the address tomorrow when I find it out

They will use the excuse that tic no longer exist and you may find getting your money back equal to trying to catch a squirrel in a forest!

They ARE the same people albeit scaled down, you have a right to your money back but if anyone else is trying to get a property through them then dont. The only winner in this is them. and you dont really get much of a discount. The market is tough but if you want to invest and can, then go to developers direct. They used to get a better discount by buying in bulk but they dont pass it on to their members.

I can pass you onto developers direct and no I dont want a fee they pay me 1% not 5%

if anyone is trying to get their deposit back the developer is just as keen to complete so why dont you try and find them out by looking on the local authority planning application register for your property getting the developer details and and seeing if they will do the deal direct at the price they sold it to TIC because I bet it is less than you are paying TIC, this way you might be able to get the mortgage and do the deal and cut TIC out but still pay less than you were going to??

     just a thought

when it moves from wall street to high street it's time to sell sell sell

Re: Has anyone got any info on tic ltd?

    Hi Caroline

Do I know you?  By the way squirrels are there to be caught. Lets face it, a bag of nuts and a cage and that pesky sqiurrels days are numbered.

So does that mean there is a chance they can be caught and shut down? I recon with the right action group and the power of media these guys can be exposed, caught and shut down!

It's up to the punters. If every punter called the police and complained that this company has robbed thier money, which by the way is probs in an off shore account, the heat would well and truely be on.

What do you punters think? No good chatting about it. Be proactive not reactive I say???? The guy who mentioned forming an action group should be the one to head this action group up. He suggested it so get on it!!!! I will help as much as I can.

I've replied re TIC in another thread - but suffice to say, happy to join in any action against these jokers. In any other line this is pure and simple theft!! Why should they get away with taking money from us and using it to set up again. The media should be interested in this!

It would appear that everybody from TIC has now moved to http://www.mosaid.co.uk/

I wish you the best of luck!
