Do you want a Property Networking Club in Lancashire?

    Hi,

Are you interested in coming to a property networking event in Lancashire? As we all know there are quite a few property network events around the UK but none in Lancashire (unless I have missed it, my reference is at YPN events Listings):

    http://www.yourpropertynetwork.co.uk/networking.html

I spend a lot of time as a landlord and a property agent in Lancashire and feel there is a bit of a gap here. I do find network events useful to meet new people, find deals and to learn.

If enough people are interested in this idea I will set the club up. I have already discussed the idea with a few property friends (Mike & Simon Entwistle, Heather Harris & Steve Bentley) who have expressed interest in this.

If you are interested in this idea please could you let me know:

    1) Location (currently thinking of Accrington, Rawtenstall, Preston or Blackburn)
    2) Content - what interests you?

Please also let me know if you think this is a bad idea, all feedback is good!

If you would like to get involved and help please let me know.

If you do want to come to the new Lancashire Property Networking Club send me your contact details so that I can e-mail you the invite.

I look forward to hearing from you.

    Regards, Fraser

Re: Do you want a Property Networking Club in Lancashire?

    Hi Fraser

We're just in the process of setting one up in Stoke - again gap in the market.

My thoughts on this - I picked a date and told people. At the end of the day if you try and listen to all the people and try and please everyone you will please no-one. I would say think about why you are doing this and what you want to get out of it. For me, it's been a bit easier as I am treating it more as a social night out on a school night with some like minded people. We've done it free, I found a bar I liked and I have invited people I know.  We're a local sales and property management company in the area so we know a few suppliers etc and so have invited them as well - I would also like to get to know the people I work with more.

Anyway, just thought I'd let you know what we're doing - no idea how it will go, but I have no great ambitions to run it as a business and so my 'success parameters' are far less - as I say all depends what you want!

    Hope that helps :)
