This thread has gone as quiet as the newsflow from the developers- has everyone bailed/given up on it?

Ive now received 2 emails over the weeks from the UK agent with 'news' from the developer- but both were just apologies that there was no news and they were trying to get a response.

Is the $150 million or so deposit money weighing them down, I wonder?

When they said there would be news within 30 days, it was a guarantee that there would be no news in 30 days.  You would think that they would plan 2 news releases 30 days from eachother and actually come through with what they said they were going to do soley for the purpose of showing everyone that they could actually follow through with something.

A good read, much like the last one, which is by the way is/was to be updated about 60 days ago. As you mentioned, a prommised reply should be made at all costs as at this point, talk is cheep and has no value..I was in the Punta Perla property in May of this yr and there was NO work going on..no beach club house that was to be open in June..no CM golf cource which has been underway since 05.. no construction what-so-ever!!! Hope this is followed up with actual proof of work being done and no more promisses of what is to be down the road.

Good day to you all. As overseas investor points out, this thread is all but dead... this is odd as this thread has been discussing Punta Perla for some 3 yrs now with some 653 posts...and no-one has anything to say ? I reiterate what "OI" says, has everyone bailed or given up?? I would think that in the amount of time this site has devoted to Punta Perla and it's state-of-being, that some one would of by now found an e-mail address or some way to contact/communicate with the Developer directly. We are all just speculating as to the current status of this proposed developement, waiting for promissed news that never seems to come or when news does finally arrive, it is late and offers more delays, timeframes, reasons for not having started yet... This is a huge project, one would expect delays... but one would also expect an involved Developer to do His upmost to keep all us that have put down hard earned $ to be informed on a REGULAR BASIS !!! These delays after delays add up to creating an investment delema, one that builds uncertainy as to the validity of it all, do we stay with it... or get out!     There is a huge amount of $ on deposit from US investers and yet we have nothing yet to show for it. No building, no insurance on our $, no clue when something will start "if".. Confortur...this was to be "any day now" back when I bought in almost 2 yrs ago... how long does one chase the carrot before realizing this is going no where??        A letter from Mr. Jeff Wagner,(director of External Relations for Punta Perla) July 18th 2008, states : " I also take this time to remind you that we are approximately three months away from making our public announcement to reveal a series of important project updates that give you a greater idea of the exciting future ahead for Punta Perla.....and ends with We look forward to communicating with you in September to give you futher progress details for Punta Perla....I for one, will be holding the Developer to this, if by the end of Sept. I/we do not have the PROOF that this is a viable indever that is going to be built, that the promissed (again) statements are in fact factual, that works are starting for real with real facts and proof, I will be pulling my $ out!!!  All the talk on this site could so easly be put at ease if the Developer only took the time to KEEP US UP TO DATE WITH PROGRESS.. on a regular basis with some info that has some substantualized facts and construction works being done in earnest, no more photo ops, real work that can be seen by those of us who have been there in person.     It is said here on this site that the Developer reads this blog, well Sirs, please be upfront with us as we need to know, what can we expect and when ?? The time is now for assurances that this is a vaible Investment. An informed public is one that does not need to speculate...      Hope we all get that much needed long overdue positive assurance soon!!!    Lets hear from you all, what do you believe? Are there any investers here or are you for the most part all reps of the sales? Cant sell something that does not exist...Lets get fired up folks... lets demand for some facts that this is infact going to be built!!!  No more cheep talk, facts are what count, are you going to build or not ? We would like to know....

So gr, you are going t pull your $ out .As a disinterested follower of this saga I'd be interested to hear how you get on. You are giving the developer yet another month to produce more 'words'.  Why ?.

Hello RogerD, good to know someone is still reading this blog. In answer to your question; having seen the site I can tell you it is quite beautiful, the beach is covered in white sand, the water is blue and about 75*, the area is protected by a reef so wave action is minimal, and I found the people to be very friendly. Add to this setting the vision of Punta Perla and you have an incredible opportunity to have a world class resort. Now, having said that, all that is missing is for the Developer to provide to all of us whom have invested in this (potentually) incredable developement some assurances that it will be built... Years have passed with a lot of promisses of things being built and permits being issued, however, no building ( exert. /example from Bonzo Bonds 31 Aug 06..letter from Mark Andrews :Papapas are being built offsite and will then be put on their bases by end of Oct. 06, originaly to be ready in July, not there, not built, not in place, to many said events have been stated only to pass as a non truth... the Confortur, it has been told to me, would be signed anyday now... 3 times... still waiting...for anything to take place !!    The issue/problem with all this is quite simple, as investers we need to be informed as to what is going on, to say nothing or to postpone stated deadlines is only making the confidence deminish, time and time again...things have been stated with yet any proof of their validity...   It is time this Developer provide the PROOF this is a viable indever, no more empty promisses, facts that are substanciated and followed through with. Yes I'll give the Developer an opportunity to show me/us that this is all going to work out, that progress is being made... this NEWS that is to be provided to ALL CONCERNED in Sept 08 from the Developer, needs to have that proof. One can not keep making empty statements and not expect the investers to demand something more, PROOF, PROOF, PROOF... LET US HAVE IT !!!   no more words...lets have some actual work done...to all the proposed projects that should of been built but as yet, have not...My unit is to be ready in about a yr., better get to building!!!
