the problem with lincolnshire as a whole is the lack of any business/well paid work.
the satellite towns (Gainsborough et al) suffer from weekenders, boaters and second homers. There is very little for the local population workwise
Lincoln, wow where do we start, student lets have died on their *** as the uni has built really good purpose built stuff. There is loads of DSS, and loads of terraced houses within walking distance to town (Sincil bank area and beyond), prices are low and rents are equally as low BUT larger properties do get a tasty amount from the LHA
lincoln and its surrounding just does not have the industry/research and development/well paid work that midlands towns have as such i feel that capital appreciation will be slow.... as the locals can't afford high rents or high prices now, and i would say in a decade... what will change?
and its miles from the M25.....
why not nlook at west suffolk/south norfolk.... brandon, thetford, mildenhall etc etc not too far to travel if outside the M25 is really what you want
stay in the pink with ciggies and drink!
