pg,
no, he's not a pro landlord. or even an experienced amateur. he runs a cafe in town (this is starting to sound ridiculous!), has had some success (purely down to the market) in BTL, without ever realising what the fundamentals were ..... few people invest like this ..... but possibly enough to make an impact. but, he's now talking about selling .. get rid of the liability etc ...... so another amateur bites the dust ...... and we come full circle back to the pro's who have supplied the market before BTL went mainstream in 1996 ....... like i say, i know a few couples who bought over-priced stock .... they get a bad tenant, suffer a 2-month void .......... panic ........ try to sell ........ nothing doing ......... straight to a BMV trader ......... (i know a good one ... wink ) ... problem solved .... hubby b*llocked ... !
