I'm planning on moving to Australia in the next couple of years and want to gen up on property investment over there so that I can hit the ground running when i land can anyone recommend any sites/forums etc, providing up to date info on housing market.

I did - bought a building plot many years ago and sold it just before the current downturn. As a non resident you can omly buy land, or new property that has never been occupied
