Are there any groups that meet in the Liverpool/Merseyside area to network and discuss best practises?

 Everything seems so far away from us here !

Hi Paul,

 There used to be a group (informal) that met at the Albert dock. Don't think they happen any longer.

 There is also a meeting held in Chester.

Where about in Liverpool are you based?  I am based in Ellesmere Port (formerly Walton in Liverpool).
