If I sell something on Ebay and use a Hong Kong drop shipper to deliver, will the buyer have to pay import duties/ taxes or VAT to the courier company. I am looking at
1. DVDs and video games
2. small electronics Audio Visual products such as cameras, camcorders, tvs, etc worth around300£
3. books and educational games
4. dresses or bags
My question is do these items attract import duties/ taxes or VAT
If yes, how much are these
How do sellers address this. Do you mention this on the website that buyer may have to pay these taxes. It might get messy if buyer refuses to pay taxes.
any help or advice will be appreciated as I am new. Also a frank opinion of whether these products are a good starting point.
