    Re: R2I

    Hi Yogi,

Like you i have invested in Playa Macenas (La Cadima) and am very concerned. I paid approximately £50,000 over 5 years ago and as i'm sure you are aware the builder has gone into receivership and there is no gurantee the bank will loan any more money to build out the development. Basically if it doesn't get built we will lose everything. To say that i am less than impressed with this whole sitaution is an understatement.

I bought into two other developments through R2I, Bravo 5 Bulgaria which has been a complete disaster and Turre Los Cerrros, which never even got built. Just hope this isn't the case with Playa Macenas. I have yet to hear from a single person who has made any money buying any of the developments they promote. It seems everything they touch is a disaster. Jonty has the opposite of the midas touch and he certianly put us through hell and and back.

I'd love to report some positive news, but right now i just don't know what is going to happen to Playa Macenas, just that there is all sorts of problems with the development.

    Regards Nigel.

    Re: R2I

Not for one minute do I reccomend people to invest with them but saying what you just have does not help this forum one bit.

If you knew anything about forum's then make sense and justify what you say, as all you have done helps the likes of them in getting your comment taken off.

If you do not want to share your views and experience then fair enough but don't give r2i reason to ask for posts to be taken down.

Granted. I will take the time to prepare a more constructive post to share my (very bad) experience with R2I.

    Re: R2I

After my Moroccan and Turkish nightmares with R2i, itnow appears my Brazilian land plot is experiencing problems....

Oh well, at least thats my only investments with them.

Would be great to speak to someone in charge at R2i (would like to think perhaps they know more than the useless people who answer the phones), but unfortunatly they are far too busy jetting off her and there...

    Re: R2I

Book out Monday 7th December in your diaries and come to our Christmas drinks down in Brighton. If you want to talk about the property market or if you've made an investment with us and want an update, then come and have a chat over a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie.

We've been holding these evenings regularly since August and we're really enjoying meeting so many of you in person.

This week we were up in Manchester. Speaking to the locals, we got a detailed insight into the market there. It's a common misconception that there is a huge oversupply of flats but our Mancunian investors dispelled this myth.

John (who came along to chat about UK property) told us that apartments in the city centre got a bad reputation due to the glut of them that were built during the boom pre-2007. However, post credit crunch, construction in Manchester really dried up, levelling out the supply of flats and creating a healthy demand once more. John has 4 buy-to-lets in the city centre and they are always rented out, negating the idea that there is oversupply.

We now have only three flats left in Manchester, which are significantly below market value. Get in touch if you would like to know more about this opportunity.

If you would like us to come up to your part of the country in the New Year, please write to us and let us know.

If you would like to come to our Christmas drinks, then please RSVP to developmentupdates@ready2invest.co.uk or call us on 01273 627900.

    Date: Monday 7th December
    Time: 5pm - 7pm
Location: Olivier House, 18 Marine Parade, Brighton, BN2 1TL

    Hope to see you there,

    Ruby, Dot, Tanya and Stuart.
