i did the course at the end of 2005 and also continued with extra coaching after that and then subscribed to livetradingfloor.com
i would consider myself to have been an intermediate level student when i did the course
i was astounded by the low level that some of the other students were at during the course (we are talking about not knowing what p/e is) a lot of the course i found to be fairly basic stuff - really starting from scratch
i enjoyed the course & trading following the course - i didnt make anything like the profits mentioned (even when i subscribed to the livetradingfloor website) and i dont think anyone else in my group has either
we kept in touch for a bit but then quickly realised that it maybe was unrealistic (& probably embarrassed because we had all spent quite a bit to get back to where we started effectively)
in my view the students (including myself) are to blame
if you send your son to the david beckham academy of football - does it mean your son will be earning 100k a week
of course not - make no mistake - some people do make money - i had a couple of flurries myself (30% in a month) - but this is not for everyone and should be viewed realistically
all the talk of financial freedom (and the cost in my view) etc only serves to build the disappointment if failure/lack of success results
if you do the course - i wish you all the best - but i dont think i would recommend it to any of my friends
