Hi all

 

Have been offered a 2nd hand copy of the Ranjan Bhattacharya property investment course. My question is as follows:

Any course is relevant for the economic circumstances applicable at the time of writing. How relevant are these courses today for eg in the light of BTL lender pulling 90% ltv loans etc. Are these courses still valid and worth buying???

Yes Ranjan's course is still worth buying, he talks about how to invest in each cycle. With the examples given from what I can remember they are based on a 85% LTV, but if all rates drop down to 75% then you just apply that to your calculations.

Rajan's course is excellent !

Rajan's course is excellent ! I love it for its contents, layout and clarity. I'm making summaries of it to have handy as its only drawback is that it's no really portable...

I am a bit confused by your two posts. Below, is what you wrote in your Russ Whiteny post and then seem to have changed your mind in this post. Could you please tell us what has changed your mind??

 

 The Whitney books are average as their layout is not very modern and there are 4 books and no instruction where to start. Rajan's Home Study course in comparaison is just in another league. The paperbacks are mostly useless. One is really useless as it was written in the 1980s, the two others have good tips if you're a yank I suppose, but apart from keeping up the positive attitude, they're not much use.
