Does anyone know of Louise Woof? Her Foolproof Forex Trading manual is available for 297.00 but I don't know anything about her and her system.

Have any of you tried using her  manual and if you have, do you know how it differs from the ADCT?

 Yes, I bought the manual a couple of months ago. It is easy to follow and sounds as though it should be profitable.  It works on the basis of putting an up bet on the £/$ and a down bet on the €/S (or vice versa - it doesn't matter which)  just before a financial announcement is made.  The assumption is that whether the rates go up or down one of the trades will profit and the other will not be triggered.

In theory the only way in which this can lose money is (for the up bet) if the rate goes up just enough to trigger your bet and then plunges back down again, or for the down bet if it goes down just enough to trigger your bet and then rises again.  Unfortunately, in practice this seems to happen quite often: I have consistently lost money on it for about 6 weeks and have now given up.

I've had the exact same experience from this system as the poster above i.e. bets being triggered then moving in the opposite direction taking out my stop loss on the way. I sent it back. I've just finished reading ADCT and Foolproof Forex isn't similar at all; ADCT is a manual for trading the Forex markets whereas Foolproof Forex is a system for spread betting on the market movements.

The manual makes it all sound very easy and straightforward. The reality is very different! Not least as her results tables don't contain the actual results, but the results that are 'possible'. This is very misleading as these are potential profits rather than true results. Many systems 'gurus' do this with their 'results' tables - so be sceptical unless you see copies of actual pages from their spreadbetting accounts.

Long-term trading is far more profitable and far less stressful. Remember rules number 1, 2 and 3: protect your capital!
