Although they might be a great bunch, it's REALLY annoying how some ex-posters on here deem themselves to big to carry on posting.

Ranjan used to post here a lot, as did Deep and a bunch of others. Most AQS people can't be arsed/aren't allowed to post here anymore either.

    Strange indeed.

Re: **Ranjan Barachatta's home study course

    Hi Craig,

I don't know about Deep or AQS et al, but from what I know of Ranjan I don't believe that his reason for not frequenting Singing Pig any more has anything to do with deeming himself to be 'too big'.

Most likely it's down to simply not having enough time any more.  What with all of his one-day courses, mentorship programmes, exhibitions, seminars, TV appearances and other things that he's probably involved in (not to mention doing his own deals as well!) it's no wonder that he's too busy to keep up with the ever-growing number of posts here.

I know that as soon as I have a flurry of activity with potential deals, my priority is the deals and SP is put to one side until I can find time to go back over what I've missed, so I don't see why Ranjan should be any different.

All that said, I shall be seing him in a couple of weeks, so I'll pose the question and see what reply I get.

    regards,
    Paul.

Is there information in this course that is not in a typical book about property investing? Books on the subject only seem to be £10-15.

Also, everything you need to know can be found somewhere here on SP.

    There are no 'secrets'.

Re: **Ranjan Barachatta's home study course

    Hi Iotrez,

I bought the course a while ago, and can honestly say that it contains stuff that 'typical' books on property investing do not cover.  Specifically, it deals with buying BMV and how to go about it.  It also comes with some very useful software to analyse potential deals.  This alone is worth much of the fee charged.

Yes, as Craig say, there isn't anything in the manual that can't be gleaned from SP, but I personally found it very useful to have it all in one place and structured in a manner to take you through step by step in setting up a BMV operation.

    Regards,
    Paul.

Re: **Ranjan Barachatta's home study course

I can't give any real experience of Ranjan's course, as I've only flicked through it at one of the Property Investor shows last year. It did seem quite comprehensive, and I reckon the positive remarks on here are valid.

The chances are the likes of Ranjan & Deep etc are too busy managing their growing companies to frequent SP as they likely once did.

I've recenlty subscribed to Deeps own forum and find it very informative, with a real community feel..  it is of course 100% property focussed. You can fill in your details here and get a £1 trial membership:

I'm pretty new to SP, so can't really compare the two, but is worth a look if property is your focus.

To anyone who owns this course,

does it cover lease options and rent to buy and all that kind of more american stuff?

Basically interested in starting with practically no money at all or savings so I need good strategies for this kind of thing.

     Cheers all
