    Re: Inside Track

Another one, how many of us are there? Have you met others who have been taken in by these people's xxxxxxx   claims? I've heard from dozens now, and the last one is suing them. Has anybody surfaced that is happy with their so called deal? I'd really like to know if we have grounds for an action here. I do not like to think they are going to get away with trading in what amounts to misery (choosing words carefully, would of liked to put in another though). (getting very angry about them now as you can probably tell). Are you not really angry at being ripped of in this way?

    Re: Inside Track

As Inside Track seems to be the choice of suckers, has anyone tried out the "Russ Whitney" products and claims?

Interested to know as again, the main success stories I know of come from people from this site and network at the same events. My property mentor is one of these and I have had success from the start thanks to his advice and help.

Although many have taken the road most travelled I would offer up some encouragment. Learn from your mistakes and try not to get angry. Get along to the networking property groups which will cost you a tenner at the most and you can chat to real experts.

""As Inside Track seems to be the choice of suckers"

Ashley  - this is quite unkind  -  the IT marketing machine is terribly persuasive and very expensively crafted  - i went a few years back and altho i am a very pragmatic person, i found myself receiving an invoice for £32k for 2 NO Money Down Deals  - and suddenly thought  ""What the hell am i doing ???" and managed to pull the plug and get monies back   -  since then IT has become faaaaar more aggressive and use Mishcon as their Lawyers  - who not noted for their sympathetic Settlement of complaints - to put it mildly ....

I had gone to their course with a friend who had been suckered in by the Moonies some years back, and she was shaking when she left -  "IT uses the same psychological barrage techniques" as the Mooonies she told me

Many many  very sensible folks have listened to ITs half truths and in many instances ITs lies -  lets have a little compassion for those who are now losing their homes because of their wish to better their futures.

I heard Whitney were nearly as bad as IT expensive seminars and courses. Not sure if they also sell off plan developments. I've read mixed reviews on Whitney over the years. I went to a free seminar a few years ago and people were urged to put the course materials books dvd etc on their credit card must have been close to a grand and then more expensive courses to follow, sounds similar to IT. Incidentally are IT the same as Instant Acess Properties (IAT) as just saw a post about a someone who apparently features in todays Mail on Sunday

Has Watchdog never done a program on either Inside Track or Whitney. If not I find it amazing considering how many other small storied they have covered and given the scale of losses suffered by some investors.

    Re: Inside Track

Yes, I do agree I could have been a little kinder. I know a few who "attended" IT and Whitney too. I didn't realise it had got to the point of people losing homes to the Moonies.

I hope I didn't offend anyone with my choice of suckers comments but I do hope it has steered anyone away from IT or similar offerings who may have been sitting on the fence.

If anyone is interested in starting a career in property without the concerns mentioned here then send me a pm. I will let you know who mentored me.

No, I will not get commission for this, it's just a little help and yes, they are members here on singingpig.

    Re: Inside Track

Brendan0  - Watchdog have been approached by many folks who have lost money via IT deals - but their lawyers have always steered away from an item due to the litigious nature of Mishcon  (IT Lawyers)

Ashley -  many folks are losing homes due to IT (maybe the Moonies, i don't know that )   as they agreed to buy off-plan and by the time the properties were built and ready for purchase, property valuations  and rentals did not stack up as per their original figures and folks  were still committing to finding increased deposits to fund their "millioniaire"  purchases.

However IT have announced that they are laying off 60 staff  so who knows if they are going to continue in the UK.

Yes Instant Access Properties is one of the many many companies  Jim Moore has set up sell the IT brand  - this is the company that sells you "bargain properties"   -   ......

Thanks Clottie, Yes I read the article in Mail on Sunday that Tamsin Barks posted about. I hadn't really heard about IAP previously. Maybe someone should set up a website to stop IT like the guy in the US who has one about Whitney.

In the same issues yesterday the MoS had an article on the dodgy SARB sector and being investigated by OFT ... preying on victims etc and then the article on IT. Watchdog might be scared off by IT but surely the OFT should not it smacks of double standards I think that they are no investigating IT and Whitney.

    Re: Inside Track

IT's lawyers probably vet all ITs literature with the finest of toothcombs - and since IT is now marketed as a "property education company"  - there will be many disclaimers  scattered throughout their literature  "price of property goes up as well as down etc etc"  .....
