NYC - have a look at the www.vwdforum.co.uk

You might find some better ways to promote!

    Re: Recommended affiliate programs

Has anyone read the Super Affiliate Handbook that Budgetflyer recommended? I am tempted but all the hype she has on the site puts me off a bit.

I am a merchant with an affiliate program I run through www.affiliatewindow.com, I have affiliates earning good money each month. If you are interested then PM me and I will send you the link to sign up.

    Re: Recommended affiliate programs

    Hi

I have read the Super Affiliate handbook and have got alot of stuff out of it.  However I am relatively new to the affiliate scene, and I guess someone that has been through and read articles on forums and talked to forum members would find that they had already learnt some of the stuff in the book.  It assumes that the reader knows little about using a PC to design webpages as there are large sections on this.

There is alot of information on making PPC links work, advertising in e-zines, making your copy sell, making sure that your commission isnt lost from people altering links to exclude your affliate code and a long list of affiliate networks (alot of which are reviewed).

There are alot of links in the pdf from which the author gets commission. I'm personally dont think that this is a bad thing - it is one of the ways that she got to get her status of "super affiliate" after all.

I printed out my copy of the pdf, and find myself refering to it nearly every day.

    A few other resourses:

CBMall - There are loads of resourses here for affiliate marketing. All of them downloadable in various formats.  They also offer an affiliate scheme for their products (of which there are thousands)

SFI Marketing - Offers a free affiliate marketing course.

Hope you found some of that useful

    Re: Recommended affiliate programs

    Hi amera

An affiliate program is an advertising program that offers commission for webmasters that drive traffic to an advertiser's website.

For example, you could have a link on your website to Amazon's website.  If people were to click on that link and then buy some books, you would get commission.

    Make sense?

    Re: Recommended affiliate programs

    hi amera

the best affliate is through clickbank by selling other people's ebooks.
    1. sign up for free account with clickbank
    2. find your product that you want pormote- You need to find a market that is searched for a lot and has a little competition
    3. pormote your link

affliate can be easy way to make money because you don't have to store or deliver any product but you have to find your niche. there alot of e-books about affliate marketing. the best i found is holy man e-book. i wrote review of the e-book in my blog, the best thing about clickbank products is that it has money back guarantee.
