Just enquiring whether anyone has successfully applied for and received a return of their initial deposit. I have an original contract stating a completion date of December 2008 which provides a get out clause if the Apartment is not passed on to within three months of this date. Now seriously looking at applying for a return of the depsosit give that lack of evidence and serious doubts over whether the development itself will materialise as well as a number of reservations with regard to the Company. FYI, below is an extract of the e-mails that I have received over the past few months in response to my questions concerning the planning - which they have not yet been granted.
17/12 (from Dave Ames) "We are building the showhome at present. Now very close to having everything in place."
9/1 (from Harlequin agent) "We are building the showhome and anticipate having full planning for rest of the resort in the very naer future"
2/2 (from Harlequin agent) "Our directors are there at the moment and all has been agreed. Just waiting for official document"
10/2 (from Harlequin agent) didn't answer my question. Told me that showhome was being built!!!
17/2 (from Harlequin agent) "All finalised plans are in with the Government and we are flying out again on Saturday to meet with Government officials"
9/4 (from Harlequin agent) "Our directors have just flown out to Barbados" (seem to like flying out there) "and I have asked him for the latest update. As soon as I receive this I will update you" (I think the plane must have got lost as I have not had any update)
