    Great news about the leaflets.

Cost of the ad is a sore point, as they would only do a full page in the property section and it cost me £295 a week. Going to have to do a better deal next time.

Best of luck with your efforts.

Wow Stuart that price is good believe it or not.

A QUARTER page ad in my prop guide is £447 a WEEK.

In the Sheffield Star a QUARTER page ad is...wait for it....£1500 a DAY.

    A DAY!.....

    I'll end up bankrupt!

That makes me feel a lot better! First time I'd bought an ad.

One of the other local papers quoted £175 for a quarter page, but the sales guy said their property section was weak!

    Re: thepropertycourse

    Hi All,

I can too recommend Glen’s course. I went on it a few weeks ago on 22nd of April. It is both informal and informative. Range of people attending – from complete novices like me to experienced property investors.

You get what is promised – detailed information on how to buy properties 15-25% BMV.

I’m new to this game, so to help me go through first few deals I signed up for Glen’s mentorship programme. I’m glad I did. Glen is just a phone call away if you need an advice. For people like me – who need a jump-start, it’s especially useful. I’m placing adverts and ordering leaflets this week, so will keep you posted.

    Re: thepropertycourse

I have been reading a lot of recommendations for glenns course / rialito's manual  & have a question before i spend my cash.

If i would be focusing on BMV BTL would either of these courses would recommend I started with zero cash (ok £3k). or is the only sensible starting point to take out a little equity from my home. (2 year fixed expires march.)

Oh, and are the bmv strategies workable while being tied into the rat race 9-5ish (freelance contractor)

    thanks
