This development is on probably the least sought-after island in the Eastern Caribbean, and on a black sand beach.  I'm sure the land was acquired extremely cheaply.  The island so far lacks direct long haul flights, and will always struggle to compete with Barbados etc.  Rental potential will be limited, and asking prices are very high relative to the cost of buying one's own land and having a house and pool built.

If anyone is thinking about purchasing any Caribbean development properties, either on the Buccament Bay (St Vincent), Merricks (Barbados), Las Canas (Dominican Republic), The Marquis Estate (St Lucia) or Garupa in (Brazil)  all these developments are by the same developer,  i found a cheeky way of recieving 1.5 % cashback on my property purchase price of £205,000 when i went ahead with one of the developments listed above namely The Marquis Estate in St Lucia. These developments are advertised on www.millionaire-investments.com. Simply sign yourself in as a member and then go ahead with the purchase, therefore recieving a 1.5% agents fee which can be claimed from the company advertising the properties. This payment is forwarded after the 30% deposit has been paid, in my case i recieved back £3075.00. This independant website does charge £199 for each years membership but obviously works out a minimal initial outlay considering the 1.5% return. I put down the deposit but haven't sent any inf into them, i'm worried what i will have to pay after the deposit as i was thinking of the 100% option, should i let the money go and move on to another project or stick it out with them. any advice would be greatly appriciated

 

 

As I understand it the site opens on July 1st, It is also appearing in holiday brochures so I guess everything is progressing.

The first flight leaves the UK on 3 Jul 2010 and I'll be on it.......hoorah!!

my name is michael, i put down a deposit with these people in buccament bay. i was just wondering how you found dealing with this comapny and have they kept their word in relation to rentals and resale. any info would greatly appriciated.
