MrToca's final sentence sums up my view on this whole issue to a tee.

Why on earth do people believe they are going to become professional investors by attending these networking events and courses?

You will learn a hell of a lot more going out there and doing it for yourself, starting small, and reading forums like this one.

    Hi Timbo

I agree that most courses are rubbish and it is a minefield out there however I do believe you can learn from an experienced person who has done what you are trying to do many times. Having met Ranjan I can tell you he is an impressive individual who is very experienced with business and property. There are a lot of people offering courses / guidance who havnt made much money out of property and make a lot of noise. Ranjan is the real deal and he is a professional you wont see him hyping things up unnecessarily and he understands value. I havnt read the course but £97 price seems low compared to similar offering in the market.

Am I right in saying that Ranjan is the foster son-in-law of the Indian Prime Minister or is it a namesake?

    Doesn't Ranjan post here anymore?

He used to be quite a frequent contributor.

I bought Ranjan's home study course a while ago, and highly recommend it.  The software alone is worth the price.

Although, as Timbo says, action is important, wrong action can quickly put you out of this business.  Spending £97 and investing a little time to learn more about property investment, and avoid basic stupid mistakes, is well spent !

Re: RE: **Ranjan Barachatta's home study course

There is certainly enough in the course to get you started. If you have questions at the end of the course that you feel haven't been answered, you can always post them here. We're here to help!

I think once you start reading a few property books and check out property forums you get a 'feel' of the common elements involved. With this info you can then formulate a plan of action!  Good luck!

Re: RE: **Ranjan Barachatta's home study course

I have just signed up for £97 home study course to see how it goes. The way I see it (as posted earlier) £97 is not the end of the world and also from what people on here have said it's worth it anyway.
