the FSA has launched a new website to explain mortgages and how they work, after discovering that about half of new mortgage applicants did not under very basic terms.   might be useful

Not very glamorous but one I use almost every day - you need postcodes when searching for house prices.

Many of you probably do this already.I find it useful.

On rightmove you can type a postcode you want to keep an eye on and they will alert you if any new prop

comes on the market in that area.-as often as every 24 hours.

Keep your eye on what property near where you live is selling for,and hopefully stay in tune with its value.

It also includes reduction of price properties.
