Re: Where can i get a cheap kitchen?

i have a contact that supplies me with my kitchens.  both cheap kitchens and good quality ones too.

an example of a cheapest kitchen 1x300 wall unit 1x300 base unit 1x500 wall unit 1x500 base unit 1x1000 wall unit 1x1000 base unit oven +hob ext sink +tap

    £700

the good quality kitchens have soft close drawer runners and cupboard doors. 18mm carcasses with 8mm solid mdf backs not hardboard floppy ones.

the cheaper kitchens are obviously for tenanted houses and the quality ones i use for my private customers houses. delivery can be arranged cost dependant on location.

I got a cheap kitchen from Ikea. It was to my surprise cheaper than B&Q or Wickes in the sales Indifferent, easy to assemble... Even I could do it Smile.

Got the stainless steel/glass extractor fan, hob & oven (all build in) for just under £300 from B&Q in the sales.

Re: Where can i get a cheap kitchen?

We have previously always used howdens via our trade account but we got a quote for a kitchen for our personal residence for £5k just for units from howdens which seemed a little high, so we tried ikea and got a similar if not better looking kitchen for £2.2k.  I will certainly now consider them for my BTL properties.

    Hi Leighton,

You may have already got sorted with the kitchen but for small kitchen areas I have started using a company called Elfin Kitchens.

These kitchens are designed with small areas in mind - visit http://www.propertyconsultants365.co.uk/company-info/63-elfin-kitchens.html for more details.

The cost vary depending on size but the best thing is they come ready assembled meaning you dont have to muck around putting them together.

They are also easy to scale down to fit through doors etc.
