Someone asked about EIG - It does cost about £150 or so a quarter (or £480 a year or something around there). It is a great resource if you are looking for certain types of properties - I trend to focus on specific development type projects so I would ABSOLUTELY recommend the service. I find quite a few deals a year, and the time and effort it saves in not having to trawl through auction catalogues is immense. Then again, if your strategy is perhaps BMV - then you will be sourcing your own deals and might not find it that useful.

    Thanks for the info Toby,

Sorry haven't been on here for a while so have only just read your response!

We have joined the site and it is proving to be a very useful resource, I've also purchased your book and found it to be a very good read, so congratulations on a very well written book!

    Kind Regards

    Hello Daniel,

Thanks for that - hope you find some gems through EIG.

As for the book - thanks again - feedback has been very good so far - an expanded printed version of the ebook has been published through TaxCafe - so anyone else interested check it out on: http://www.taxcafe.co.uk/creditcrunch.html. I really hope it helps those landlords who may be struggling in the tough market conditions.

We made the decision to start managing all of our properties over the coming year, due to many of the properties coming off the fixed term in 2009, so working hard on producing more cash flow for the tougher times ahead is imperative! Some of the suggestions you made in the book were excellent!
