    Re: Metal Frame House

I would steer clear of B.I.S.F construction houses, I was buying one BMV last year, house valued up o.k, lender in place but valuer wanted further structural investigation, I was buying at 25% BMV sell and rent back so I thought it was worth paying to get a structural survey done, Surveyor found evidence of corrosion in steel supporting columns (Houses were built post war and were only supposed to last 25-30 years) and he advised me not to touch it with a barge pole,  What's the condition of the house going to be like in 15-20 years time could be very expensive? live and learn just my personal experience though!
