    Patricia,

Looks like things are coming together for your venture.  Thank you for your e-mail - I'd be interested to hear details of your products, and your prices for 'introduction only', 'rent collection', and 'full management', or whatever combination of these you're planning.

Your website is easy to use and informative, but under your 'Landlords Info' section, I believe you'll find furnished property now only attracts a council tax discount of 10% in the Brighton area, rather than the previous 50%.

Merry Christmas, and I look forward to hearing from you.

    Regards

    Re: Marketing for landlords

as an advertising professional I'd suggest you contact all your local papers and get quotations on a business card size advert 4 x 2 col for both peoperty pages and classified property to let sections. Inform them you will prepay and do some series advertising and also inform them your in contact with their competitors. Do a bi-weekly advertisement with each one alternating between the to let and the property page. Haggle hard and dont back down. Make sure your advertisements look irregular and stand out on a page and try and negotiate the colour charge to be dropped. Also find out where all the to let flyers are posted in your local area and get a poster designed (if you use your female charm you may find that your press advertising rep will design it for you) and place it in the middle, generally these flyers are posted in general stores i.e newsagents, bus shelters and places where everyone visit regularily.

    Re: Marketing for landlords

The people at Business Link have transformed our sales - I cannot sing their praises enough. We sell Landlord Software to letting agents and private landlords and have found their help invaluable both on the web and direct mail front.

If you're interested we could give you more information.

    cheers
