Assuming one can find the willing sellers, always the hardest part, is there
any reason that the Endowment Policy could not be bought and assigned by
oneself? This would effectively cut out the middleman and a whole ream of
high management charges.
Valuation would be the sticky area but in simple thinking, if we take
a few TEP firms values/offers on the same policy, on a personal basis we should
be able to pay a couple of pounds more as we do not have their admin costs and
thus still can maintain a higher margin.
Note - Only traditional With Profits Endowment
Policies are generally worth buying, the older the better. Probably said
before but a very important point.
