    Assuming one can find the willing sellers, always the hardest part, is there any reason that the Endowment Policy could not be bought and assigned by oneself? This would effectively cut out the middleman and a whole ream of high management charges.

     Valuation would be the sticky area but in simple thinking, if we take a few TEP firms values/offers on the same policy, on a personal basis we should be able to pay a couple of pounds more as we do not have their admin costs and thus still can maintain a higher margin.

     Note - Only traditional With Profits Endowment Policies are generally worth buying, the older the better.  Probably said before but a very important point.
