    RE: Darren Winters

Hi I'm very new to this forum but a friend has recommended me to this group. I've been reading your posts and it's very interesting because I went to the seminar in Oct last year. It was very informative to say the least and I do agree with Leanne and Paul. Darren Winters have consolidated all the information he has read from lots of books and courses which he has been to and have given it to us in a concise and easy to understand way. I've read a few good books on share trading and have found all the good methods highlighted in the Winter's course. The books and CDs are very useful and I really recommend this course to anyone who wants a solid introduction to share trading. Unfortunately, due to other circumstances, I've not had the chance to put what I learnt into good use. But at the end of the day, I've been to the training and I have the notes so it's always something that I can refer back to.

    RE: Darren Winters

I've been invited to attend one of Darren Winters "Free" Investment Seminars
later this month. I got the invitation from ADVFN (stocks and shares website).
I can also invite friends along for free also.

Let me know if you're interested and I'll send you the registration details.

I'm going to the one on Sunday 23rd March at Heathrow. If anybody else is
planning to be there let me know and we can arrange to meet up. Other dates
are available in London but are all mid week.

I don't know much about DW myself apart from what I've seen on this site.
But I certainly am interested in getting some free advice.

By the way, please don't think I'll be making anything by inviting others
    along, I won't.

    RE: Darren Winters

Let me know if you want to go in April as I have somebody else interested and as mentioned will offer a discount so should work out roughly 600 each - I think that is good value for 2 days of training. Particularly suited to people new to trading.

    Cheers

I have a friend who may be very interested in attending this.

Is a £600 ticket still available?

    Hi there Kaizen,

If you give me details I will speak to the other interested party and see if we can work out a deal. I would suspect that whoever keeps the videos and CD-Rom would pay a bit more.

    Cheers

    RE: Darren Winters

Has anyone asked Darren Winters how much he's made trading and verified it with trading statements.
He may have lost all his money, so has to do seminars.
The top 10% of money managers only lost 40% of there customers money.

    RE: Darren Winters

    Hi Paul
Have you tried trading with Darren's strategy? Do you have an breakdown as to what this training is about? Is the core of it technical analysis?
I went to his free seminar and it was quite interesting, am thinking of going to his paid one. I will use you as a reference if I do though if you don't mind :)
How does it compare with learning from books? Is there a lot of experience that's passed across? I want to learn from from other people's experience as much as possible since it is a far better learning process than reading books. Would you say this is the case?

    Best wishes :)

    RE: Darren Winters

I may be being a little cheeky but from what I know from the free Darren Winters introductory seminar there is no new info, he has just collected it from different places. eg he was talking about the Beating the Dow strategy as one of his tools.

Does anyone who has been to the seminar know of a list of books which would cover the same material? I am *not* asking for your course notes as I believe the copyright belongs with Darren Winters but if I can find a legal, fair way to get 90% of the information for 2% of the price then I am keen!

    Cheers,
    Leanne
