    Re: Gekko properties

    Hi Zane,

just for the record, i am not intent on "starting" anything, and i certainly don't have anything against Roger/Sam personally. In fact, i regret the fact that i have had to take the measures i am taking at the moment.

Unfortunately, as you say, no refund and no info is forthcoming from either Roger or Chris Long, so logic seems to suggest that peoples' monies are not going to be voluntarily returned by Roger, Chris Long, or magically returned by the tooth fairy.

While i am a polite, mild mannered and laid back individual, i also have a strong sense of right and wrong. I also have the financial inability to just walk away from the money i "invested" and the commitment, conviction and determination to see through whatever i turn my hand to, in a way that would put a bull dog to shame.

I am not doing what i am doing because i want to, i am doing it simply because i have been offered no alternative, and i am a door mat for no-one.

    Re: Gekko properties

Zane.....i forgot to say, you are actually incorrect when you say that we investors can only seek legal action against Roger.

If for example you invested in the Persimmon showhomes portfolio, you can take both Roger and Chris Long to court.

At no point did Chris Long own or have legal rights to sell that portfolio. As a matter of fact, Persimmon homes were the only people to ever own or have rights to sell it.

You can sue Chris Long and Gekko as the "disclosed agent."

A question for all who follow this thread...

Has ANYONE on Singing Pig (or outside of it, but pointed to this question) received a refund from Gekko?  (Not interested in claims of people being paid, only from the people themselves).  Roger cites a lot of names, presumably some of them frequent/use Singing Pig?

    Thanks in advance,

     David Mason

    Re: Gekko properties

    Good Morning,

Is there no end to this? I got in the office this morning at 5.55 AM after leaving at 10.30 PM last night because I have a huge work load to attend to now that I am finally sourcing BMV's again, but the first thing I see when I switch on the PC is this posting by you David and it is now 6.56 AM and - as usually happens - I have become distracted from the work I came in early to do - by this.

You e-mailed me the other day for a list of genuine people who you can reference who have received completed deals from me and cash-backs. I spent hours contacting or attempting to contact dozens of investors who have had deals complete on good margin BMV/NMD properties and who have received cashbacks into the bargain, because I feel that it is only right that I ask these investors permission before I give their names and contact details as a reference to a complete and unknown stranger. I am awaiting e-mails back from the majority I left messages with after failing to raise them by telephone and as soon as that happens I will be in touch with you with the list you asked for.

Now, despite the list I posted on here and despite confirmation from people such as Debbie Burgess who received an instant refund from me of £40,000, and Koshy Jacobs who received £6,000, you now seek confirmation from other refunded investors.

I thought when I spoke to you on the telephone the other day that I had reassured you and you were now content to let your 2 NMD/BMV acquisitions with cashback complete - apparently not.

I admit that I do not know what you are up to David. You have continually libelled and slandered me and then seem to come around only to start again within days.

I attended Court on Friday with 2 investors - part of a group of 7 - who issued a Statutory Demand for my Bankruptcy against me, which I countered to be Set Aside. The outcome - that the Judge adjourned the hearing until, possibly, August/September is not important. What is, is the manner in which the Judge rounded on the 2 'Creditors', stopping just a little short of angrily savaging them and pointedly warning them in barely restrained terms that they had better think long and hard about litigation because he was duty bound to abide by the evidence in the case and that the loser will be faced with considerable legal costs.

The Judge had my evidence in front of him and both I and the 2 investors knew exactly what the Judge was trying to say to them - that based upon the evidence of the case they would lose any litigation against me and, depending on type of law suit, be left with horrific legal costs to bear - not to mention any counter claim for damages from myself.

This, yet again, confirms the truth of what I have said from the onset of this mess - in private e-mails to investors, in responses on public forums, face-to-face and in telephone conversations; "please do not waste any more of your money on litigation against me because you will lose".  I don't really care David, if you or others do not believe me, but I did not make that statement from arrogance or from any selfish motive, but because I had genuine empathy and sympathy with investors and genuinely did not want them to lose yet more money on litigation which was doomed - because of the real truth of this matter - to fail.

Trial by Singing Pig, where statements can be issued from anonymous cretins who have just joined for the purpose of posting unadulterated libellous tripe - without even giving real names, contact phone numbers, e-mail addresses or even locations, and advice from 'tap room' lawyers, or even advice from genuine solicitors who do not know the full story and have not access to the full facts and evidence of the case, is not the same as an actual law case.

I know that the 2 investors who attended Court know this now and that the Judges warning was not lost on them, because after the hearing we spent over an hour in conversation and they have withdrawn the Court action against me and we have resolved the situation. They are now back as clients - something I am genuinely pleased about because I know  that all of them are sincerely decent and nice people and I genuinely did not want them to continue on a course of action (which, incidentally, someone else had plotted) which would definitely have resulted in them losing and facing huge legal bills - there is no need, because now, as I proofed to the 2 investors mentioned above, Chris Long has genuine deals progressing which will see everyone refunded by the 26th of June.  .

Further David, as a measure of my fairness and genuine concern for investors caught up in this saga, I haved actually counselled Chris Long that it is not enough to simply refund peoples money because these investors did not hand over cash as a type of 6 month interest free loan, they wanted BMV/NMD acquisitions - preferrably with cashback - to start a property investment portfolio or add to an existing one. To his credit (there I go defending him again) Chris Long agrees, which is why he prefers investors to switch to the BMV/NMD/Cashback deals he now genuinely has to offer. For those who choose not to avail themselves of any more of Chris Longs deals then that is their perogative, there are always the 25% BMV deals other companies are offering where, instead of receiving £3,000 to £5,000 cashback the investor is actually required to pay £3,000 to £5,000 or more to buy the deal. Contrary to popular belief (or wishful thinking) this saga has not damaged my credibility but quite the reverse - I have retained 95% of my clients as investors and friends and even acquired new clients who are not only aware of this kangaroo trial by Singing Pig, but have actually signed on with me because of it!.

If your mistrust and anger is still so unsatisfied after our telephone conversation David that you have to post on here again for proof that I have told the truth - this time in respect of refunds - then I suggest you do not proceed with your purchase of the 2 properties you have progressing, take your £2,000 refund from Chris Long within the next 6 weeks and do not deal with us again.

To the investors who have been refunded by me I say that if you could confirm on here that I have refunded you I will be grateful.

    Roger

    Re: Gekko properties

I have dealt with gekko property. I paid 2.5k as a deposit on a C.L. property which did not proceed. I received my refund.

I would deal with Sammy again.

    Re: Gekko properties

    Roger,

The reason I posted it was you didn't reply to what I thought was a perfectly reasonable request - namely, some people who would back you up with what you asserted - namely, that you had provided people with refunds.

I am - to be honest - a little wary of people who reply without contact information, it would be nice to verify facts and figures.  I can create a new email address in a matter of seconds.

If you answered emails/replied to phone messages in a timely manner, that would help, and if you refunded people their monies for deals that didn't materialise, this whole thread would not be on Singing Pig.  Up to you.

    David
