    Hows It Goin...

    Hi Bee,

I started at 22 and have just turned the corner to 26 now. Its been an exciting few years where lots has been learnt and many new friends/associates have been made. At the moment it is getting harder for most as their is a shortage of cheap finance, but the positive side of it is, that if you can weather the storm now, it should only get easier.

    Bee_001:
    Why Property?

It seemed an easier and more stable route to make money than stocks/shares.

    Bee_001:
    And How's The Finance?

As mentioned above, the availability of cheap finance is not easy, but there is always a way to get hold or make money when you have a deal on the table. Make sure you network and create relationships with other investors. If times are tough, you can always source deals for them and create an income this way.

Zip it! [:#] Re: Who Owns Thier Own Business?

Good to see you so inquisitive at such a young age [don't forget to keep having fun and not get to tied up into wanting to make money]

I think you can learn all you really require from this website as well as info from Parmdeep's site www.deeps-forum.com

The rest will come from networking events and from getting your hands dirty by agreeing a deal or 2. An alternative to doing the deal yourself, if you feel a little nervous at the moment, is to generate some leads and then get an investors to agree and complete on it with you following in his/her footsteps. Depending if the investor buys it themself or sells it on, you can derive a decent finders fee from it and use this towards your marketing budget as well as gain valuable knowledge/experience.

Money saving tip! Try your local library for the books you are interested in. Read them first for free before you decide which ones you want to buy and keep for future reference.

    Good Luck

Re: Who Owns Thier Own Business?

Yes, "Reading is good", but there are as many bad books on property as good books.

There really is no substitute for actual experience. Who would you rather re-wire your house? A well-read student of electronics or an electrician who has just re-wired your neighbours house?

If you are serious about wanting to get involved in property, you need to get your hands on.

Find a job ( full time or part time ) where you can get close enough to get the smell and taste of it without having to bite into it. Start storing your own thoughts and drawing your own conclusions based on your own actual experiences and encounters.
