    Ajay Ahuja and USA Property.

    Hiya all,

Ive been getting mailshots from Ajay Ahujas site for a while now on property in the USA. Ive always been intruiged by these and also Ajay as theres a few comments on here questioning his motives.

Nevertheless i keep an open mind and this lastest release of his 'hotspot' in the USA claims a very high yield. This is available on his website but ill post the link direct for it to open anyhow.

Now im not too experienced but this seems a good starting point to maybe get into the USA market, i know things are a little uncertain over there at the mo but surely for the small price this investment is asking for brings little risk?

What are other peoples thoughts on these kind of opporutnites in the USA? Are they worth pursuing?

Heres the link with the financial details etc:

    Id appreciate any comments.

    Kind regards,

    Simon.

The US are having a sale right now so it's a good time to buy, but you have to make sure you buy in the right property and in the right location. However I think that a non US citizen will find it extremely hard to get a mortgage in the US. If you check out Rich Dad's site, he's got some video clips and they state where they are buying right now in the US and why.

Why not do some due dilligence on the link you sent? Contact estate agents/ letting agents in that area to confirm if it's sounds genuine.

    Foz,

I am researching USA at present. I have found the following websites useful:

http://www.trulia.com/  prices of for sale and recently sold

    http://www.city-data.com/  financial/economic data by city

    http://199.169.241.34/mortgagemaps/  Fedral Bank reposession stats

What was the locaiton of Ahuja's deals?

Re: Ajay Ahuja and USA Property.

    Hi all,

the title of your post intrigued me because in many ways it was a determination not to use sites such as Ajays that drove me to make my own investments in USA. I have just posted a note re Buffalo, WNY and what I have to say there (without being too pointed) could be considered in the  light of the of the subject title  to  this post.

What i mean by all  this is I feel you don't need to use people like Mr Ahuja or the likes. Do it yourself and save money, save your income and get what YOU want rather than what someone wants to sell you. I  have spent eons on the net researching and travelling and have only scratched the surface but have found myself a good team. People you  can trust is  really the most important thing you can have in your armoury of real estate weapons. Due diligence (doing your homework) is  very very important as going into the process with the wrong perceptions of what you are getting into can lead to disappointment and an out of pocket situation.

Spend as much time as you can researching the markets that interest YOU, work out what you want out of a deal , how you want to do it and to some ectent that will exclude certain markets and means of doing business, applies to most investments really.

I'm happy to talk about my experiences if you want to PM me. I'm no  expert but have been burned and survived.

    Happy hunting.

    Robin
