Hello everyone.  I am based in London but have friends from Birmingham and else where in the country that are also interested in property.  I am trying to basically find out where the based national networking events or clubs are, as from speaking to various people I understand that this is one of the best ways to speed up my property success.  Can anyone advise me as to the best networking events, organisations, clubs etc. I understand www.propertynetworkingclub.com are good but I was wondering if there were any others me and my friends should be trying to join up with.

 I'm based in London too and have been to a few networking events. Depending on what you're looking for, networking events can be great for a number of things. However, of late, most events seem to consist more of people trying to sell something (mortgage products, overseas props, off plans, financial etc.) which can be really useful if that's what you're looking for. I'm a bit more interested in meeting fellow investors who are not really trying to sell me anything but just to be able to meet up and bounce some ideas around and if something more comes out of it, like a partnership in a project, all the better. But that for me should be a bonus rather than the main reason for meeting up. So if anyone is interested in meeting up in London, do pm me.
 

Very well put Master..I think the vast majority of investors are more interested in the sort of meet up you are suggesting - as opposed to paying into an "event" where you give lots of people an opportunity to try to sell you something. Although those events are undoubtably of value to some, they may be better viewed as an available option rather than something you "daren't miss out on" - as they are often portrayed by their organisers and supporters alike (just me thinking aloud here as many may disagree with that viewpoint - which they are perfectly entitled to).

There used to be a regular PNC meeting first wed of each month in Brighton, I think it's still going.  I have been meaning to start attending this myself for ages but things kept getting in the way, really must make the effort this year. 

That's a shame you do not recall where it is held.

I wonder if anyone else can help on this subject?
