    Inside Track

    Hi All

Could anybody tell me if this property workshop is any good?

    Has anybody been to one?

    Thanks

    Re: Inside Track

    Hi,

I attended the free evening taster a couple of years ago and then went for the 2 day weekend.  I found it helpful, however it acts as a front end for a more substantial membership fee to gain access to off-plan properties.  I felt that this was too expensive.  Anyhow, since then my wife and I have learned how to buy property without any money.  This is far more scalable  Wink we hope to do lots of those.

You say you found the 2 day weekend "helpful".....any chance you could quantify that better in terms of "value"?

If I'm not mistaken the "2 day course" is in the region of £2.5K......parting with that sort of cash I'd want to be "blown away" or "life changing"....."helpful" might make me feel a little "seen off"?

    Re: Inside Track

I spent £1.2k and I cannot say that I was blown away.  In hindsight, perhaps I would not have spent the money, hindsight is an easy thing, however having said that I have a good set of notes that I found to be useful and I refer to, so in that sense it was helpful.  I am sure that it is possible to gain the information by trawling the web and reading some good material, if you have the time.  I work in the IT world and it is common to spend large amounts of money on courses so the amount for the two-day seminar was not particularly frightening.  The cost required to join in the group that acquires off-plan property was too much for me so I did not participate in that.

Being more specific, the course covered legals, types of borrowing, negotiation, valuations, real life examples and representatives from sections of the property industry with their experiences.

    Re: Inside Track

you will learn nothing from Inside Track that you cannotn find anywhere else.  They charge an outrageous amount of money considering you can buy a days course from £299-£500 here on SP. Look at the reading list on here - HUGE choice, and do some networking.

I went to the freebie 2 hour seminar....I must say i entered with a critical eye and had no intention of signing up for anything.

I had assumed all those people that signed up for the weekend seminar where Judas Goats.....it seems that some people really do sign up then....Indifferent

    Re: Inside Track

The whole purpose of Inside Track appears to be to subject people to a process of 'conditioning' whereby what initially seems to be a lot of money appears to be relatively little money. The other part of the process is to condition people to see business opportunities as significantly less risky than they appeared to be before the conditioning process.

Put another way, they take you into a room and inject you with a 'big spender' mentality and then proceed to sell you services and properties that would have seemed absurdly expensive to you before they injected you.

Basically, they sell you an absurdly expensive seminar and make you feel it's a bargain.

They then sell you a lot of expensive over-priced property and make you feel privileged to be buying it.

It's a highly professional and beautifully executed SCAM!
