I'm interested in affiliate programs that are paying. If anyone knows of such programs or info about where I can find this info that would be appreciated.

There must be thousands! Why not start with an idea of what you want to sell. If you're worried about trusting the merchant directly then use one of the networks.

I've been paid by affiliate future. Highly recommended, plenty of merchants to chose from. Good response from e-mails.

Another large UK based program is Trade Doubler http://www.tradedoubler.com/pan/public

Register and take a good luck around - make sure you pick an area with good commission and where you can realistically create a site with content to target the likey customers of those advertisers.

Competition is very high in most areas but the top dogs make great money - the rest get the scraps...

Can you become an affiliate of say "ticketmaster.co.uk" and create your own online ticket selling company, then link to the big boys?

Ticketmaster's affiliate program is at:

so providing you meet their criteria, yes you could create your own online ticket company using them as your dropshipper (for want of a better phrase).

Of course, you'd need to get traffic to your site to make it pay. There may be restrictions on what you can advertise - many affiliate programs don't like you to bid on certain keywords. Again, this will be covered in the affiliate agreement.

Yes it makes sense to me squire. Only reason I asked about ticketmaster is because a freind of mine is as keen as mustard to go down that route. I said it would not be worth it, as its old hat now and he will need a big effort, plenty of time, and maybe a decent amoutn of cash upfront to get it working.

But he is adamant to go this way, and eventualy tell his current boss to flock off, and do the affiliate thing as a permanent job.

 

This market must be flooded I would think.
