    WIN Investing LLP

Seen these share seminars advertised in the Metro this week, so I had a look at their website:

    http://www.wininvesting.co.uk/

As usual, seems like a mix of interesting marketing speak together with too-good-to-be-true style promises. Anyone had any experience of them?

    RE: WIN Investing LLP

Complete waste of time and money.

I went to his free promo.

Many techniques used by Witney et al: open the doors very late, freeze the boll*cks off the clients...

Any "tips" of any complexity said at extreme speed so that one could not even understand them, nevermind take notes.

Glorification of simple chartist techniques that can be obtained by buying any number of books.

By way of background, I used to work in the City as a product controller/pricing analyst working in credit derivatives, equity option pricing, and swaps (chartered accountant).

    Hope this helps.

    RE: WIN Investing LLP

Hi as I have also been to their seminar and they were trying to throw offers to get people on board.
They needed any form of plastic to secure the seat.

The only mistake I did was to sign a form and requested to post a cheque.

Can somebody please advise me if I am legal to get of the course as I do not intend to attend after reading multiple forums and going through couple of other postings found on other web sites.

I would appreciate if some one could kindly advise me.

there should be a cooling off period i think, check your paperwork, and write immediately saying you have changed your mind and cancel your deposit cheque immediately.

    RE: WIN Investing LLP

I attended a free seminar of theres about 2 years ago. Paid my fee of £1500 and then did some research on the bloke... asked for my money back and they refused. So I basically kept phoning them and told them a sob story.

I had specifically stated on my application form that they were not to take payment for 48 hours but they took it same day.

The geezers wife is a Russian lady...very sharp cookie. I told her my situation and she kindly returned my money.

They guys story just does not add up...
400 books read in how many years...yeh right...
In the last year I have read 20 books covering property and trading.

    Work the math out...
150 people per seminar per month paying £1500 upwards ....why would he want to risk his money trading?

I'm sure his seminar will teach you valid trading techniques but I doubt very much he's made his money using them.

    RE: WIN Investing LLP

I went to a free evening about 18 months ago. I actually got a lot out of it, but maybe I am a complete philistine when it comes to the stock market. It led me to read a lot of books and I have learned alot more since. I have been tempted to book the 2 day training but I have held off, so far.
